| Abstract: |
| Recently, the growing of renewable sources is increased due to environment pollution and evidenced by petroleum crisis. Owing to the concerns about this problems and environmental impact of transport, solar electric vehicles (SEVs) have emerged as one of the most promising solutions for solving this problems and reducing the global emissions. It should be pointed out that the SEVs realize a clear link between the transport sector and the renewable energy. This paper implemented the proposed energy storage system (ESS), which was used in Bu-Ali Sina University (BASU) SEV. This vehicle was built by our team and is in developing since 2013. proposed ESS topology including photovoltaic cells, energy storage (e.g. battery, supercapacitor) and multiple-input DC-DC converter were modeled in MATLAB/SIMULINK. |
